2025-26 COLLEGE VISITS

This year we are happy to provide the students with the opportunity to visit with some college representatives here on campus. They are always scheduled during high school lunch and will have information set up in the commons. Mrs. Heck will notify students prior to the visits.
 

Upcoming FALL 2025-26 College Fairs

College fairs are a great opportunity to speak with representatives from several different colleges from all over the United States.

You will have a chance to ask questions regarding scholarships, financial aid, enrollment procedures, deadlines, etc. Details for our local Christian College Fair is listed below but there are many fairs held throughout the state of Colorado (mostly Denver).
 

Christian College Fairs 
• Monday, September 22nd from 6:00pm - 8:00pm @ Colorado Springs Christian High School  (Register Here)

FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID APPLICATION (FAFSA)

On October 1, 2025, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available for the 2026–27 academic year. Students applying for college must fill this out during their college application process. Most colleges will check to see that you’ve submitted this before reviewing your application.

PSAT Test Information

 
PPCS will be administering the Digital PSAT test for all sophomores and juniors. The PSAT /NMSQT is the practice test for the SAT and gives students a good measurement of where they are in comparison to other college bound students. For juniors it is a good warm up for the SAT and could also put you in the running for the National Merit Scholarship.
 
The Digital PSAT will be Wednesday, October 15th from 8:10am – 12pm.
 
 

ACT & SAT Tests

 
General Information:
  • These tests can be taken as many times as you would like between the sophomore and senior years.
  • It is recommended they be taken after the first semester of your junior year and before the end of the first semester of your senior year.
  • If you take the ACT more than once, you can request the specific test date scores you would like to be sent to the college(s) of your choice.
  • The scores for the ACT range from 1 - 36 for each test (English, Math, Reading, and Science).  The 5-year average National scores for the ACT are Composite 20.9, Math 20.7, Reading 20.7.
  • In comparison, the 5-year average Composite score for PPCS graduates is 22.4.
  • If you take the SAT more than once, each set of scores will be sent to the college(s) of your choice.  The college you are applying to will look at the highest.
  • The scores for the SAT range from 200 - 800 for each test (Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math). The 5-year National average scores are EBRW 516 and Math 521.
  • The 5-year average SAT scores for PPCS students are: EBRW 559 and Math 526.
  • You can register on-line and you will need to include our high school code, 060254.
